Google Street View has arrived in India starting with Bengaluru. Google, as suggested earlier, chose the safe path by not sending in the trikes aka glorified rickshaws. Instead it sent a more sturdy vehicle. Mahindra Scorpio, one of the popular SUV’s in India gets the honor to hold the Google camera. From the pictures there is no visible Google branding but who else would carry a camera on top of a Scorpio. It requires a lot of approvals to do such a thing for a long time.
